How the training runs
Four stages, classroom to rooftop.
Every course moves through the same four stages, so you always know what you are working towards next.
- Stage 01
Learn
Start with product foundations, system principles, safety requirements and the standards that guide reliable solar work.
- Stage 02
Practise
Work with real equipment through guided installation, commissioning and fault-finding exercises.
- Stage 03
Assess
Demonstrate practical understanding through structured tasks, observation and recognised assessment pathways.
- Stage 04
Install
Take stronger technical confidence back to the field and deliver safer, cleaner and more dependable installations.

Classroom + workplace
How our courses work.
Focused classroom days combined with real-world workplace evidence on live installations under mentor oversight.
- Classroom days
- Face-to-face theory, demonstrations, simulations and assessed practicals.
- Work module
- Real installations under mentor oversight, with portfolio evidence collection.
- Total duration
- The calendar window within which both must be completed.
Product training
Learn the brands you’ll actually fit.
Product-specific sessions across the modules, inverters and batteries GC Solar distributes, the same hardware standing in our training centres.
Course material
The manuals we teach from.
