Business Developer

Our team consists of talented professionals who are passionate about driving business growth and creating valuable opportunities for our company. To support our expanding operations, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Developer to join our team.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Sales & Customer Care:
Assisting and driving sales and making sure the business grows by introducing new clients/companies to our business.
Constantly seeking new business opportunities on a constant basis using all sales prospecting tools available.
Update daily orders list, back-order file, and load sales daily;
Update customers on collection dates for orders received or placed, as well communicating any delays;
Administration and ad-hoc;
Manage distributions to customers, checking pricing and ensuring on time delivery;
Invoicing for customers;
Check details against order form to ensure all required technical data is available;
Processing payments, purchase orders and following up on debtors;
Constantly improving knowledge regarding the trade and industry and the business sector
Closing deals from medium to very high value.

Quoting clients according to requests and Invoicing of customers.
Attending project and tender enquiries.
Create strategic sales plan to expand customer base.
Find ways to increase the quality of customer service.
2. Marketing:
Advising on possible marketing campaigns and being part of marketing strategies and ideas on how to promote the business.
Assisting with marketing events and presenting company at possible shows, events, and seminars.
Assist with company profile and company presentations.
3. Technical Support
Assist and advise clients on technical aspects of the product range and making recommendations on the required products as per clients needs.
Advise clients and explain warranties and terms & conditions in full.
Assisting with any customer complaints and issues.
4. Management & Reporting
Daily updates on activities and the compiling of monthly reports of sales reports.
Constantly building and motivating sales team.
Constant brainstorming with sales team and making sure possible projects is targeted.
Assisting and advising on sales team clients visit or assist sales consultants with presentation to customers.
Ensure that policy and procedures are followed.
Compiling and comparing sales figures and evaluating accordingly.
Train and recruit sales consultants on regular basis.
5. Train & Developing
Train and recruit sales consultants on regular basis.
Identify knowledge gaps and make sure that it fulfilled by regular product training.
Identify possible reasons for decline in sales and producing solutions to increase sales.
6. Budget Planning
Formulating a sales budget for expos, marketing merchandise, functions and /or any other means of brand exposure resulting in sales.
